Telescope

A telescope is a tool which is used for seeing distant and remote objects. This is in fact a general term which is used for all the instruments which are used for observing distant bodies or objects.

There are various types of telescopes according to their applications. Optical telescope enlarges the angular sizes and brightness of the remote objects. It collects light from the visible parts of an electromagnetic spectrum.

Optical telescopes have three main types i.e. reflecting telescope, refracting telescope and catadioptric telescope. Lens and mirror arrangements are used in catadioptric telescopes. While lens arrangements are alone used in refracting telescope, and mirror arrangements are alone used in reflecting telescope.

Binocular telescope enable us to see three-dimensional images of objects. There are used two mirror symmetrical telescopes. These similar telescopes are placed side by side pointing towards the similar direction. Thus, it gives a perfect vision.

Monocular telescope also referred as refracting telescope is used for having magnifying images of far off objects. These telescopes are used by the visually impaired people to visualize the distant objects.

Spotting scope is another kind of telescope which is light weight, portable used for viewing and observing terrestrial objects. It has three types i.e. the straight through, the angled and the shoulder mounted. It has a stable foundation and is rubber armored.

Radio telescopes are parabolic in shape. Larger groups or pairs are used to make huge virtual apertures in manufacturing radio telescopes.
X-ray and Gamma-ray telescopes are also useful in some aspects of telescoping. These rays pass through glasses and metals. Therefore, mostly problems have to be faced while using them.

Binoculars and telescopes can be distinguished from each other. Binoculars are portable and well-known instruments or devices which are more popular among the customers. Binoculars are mostly used at outdoors by people for example hunters, astronomers, boaters, soldiers, etc. Every enthusiast love to use a reliable pair of binoculars for outdoor activities. A proper right side up vision is provided by the binoculars which make them perfect for visualizing astronomical objects.

While buying any type of binocular, you should consider the optical perspective. The quality of a binocular depends on the type of glasses used for the lenses in manufacturing a binocular. In addition to it, there are some other factors which determine the quality of a telescope i.e. type and size of prisms, the procedure used for polishing the glass, the coatings applied and eyepiece designs.

Besides, the types of telescopes mentioned earlier, there are various other types and brands of telescopes such as Hubble telescope, Hubble space telescope, Meade telescope, Orion telescope, Discovery telescope, etc. The pictures of telescopes for example Hubble telescope pictures help in buying an item or in getting online information by using internet. Telescope reviews provide information about telescopes and things related with them for instance who invented the telescope, in telescope tripod USA, telescope eyes, etc. Sky and telescope are closely linked. Both are linked with each other because the distant objects in sky like stars often are viewed through telescopes.
